The CHUOKU high-speed-steel (HSS) 4-flute end mill is a standard cutter for side milling, slotting, and finishing on milling machines and CNC. The 4-flute geometry runs steadily and gives a smoother finish than a 2-flute, ideal for general milling of mild and alloy steel. Available in a full range from φ2 to φ20 mm at an economical price. Compatibility
Match the shank size (6/10/12/16 mm by cutter size) to your collet or end-mill holder. A 4-flute cutter suits finishing steel; for deep slotting or aluminium with heavy chips a 2-flute with wider flutes may be better. Use coolant and set speeds and feeds to the material.

How is a high-speed end mill different from Super HSS?
A high-speed end mill is standard-grade HSS — economical and good for general work. Super HSS is a premium HSS grade with added cobalt or alloying elements for more hardness and heat resistance, so it cuts faster and lasts longer — better for harder materials and continuous work.
Should I choose 4-flute or 2-flute?
4-flute has more cutting edges, runs steadier, and gives a smoother finish — good for side milling and finishing steel. 2-flute has wider flutes for chip clearance, better for deep slotting and chip-heavy materials like aluminium.
What sizes are available?
From φ2 mm to φ20 mm including half sizes, with the shank increasing by cutter size. Tell BOWMAP the size you need to check stock.
