The CHUOKU Super HSS 4-flute (4F) end mill is a premium high-speed-steel cutter for side milling, slotting, and finishing on milling machines. Available in a full range from φ1.5 to φ38 mm, the 4-flute geometry gives a smoother finish and steadier cut than 2-flute on mild and alloy steels. Compatibility
Match the shank to your collet or end-mill holder (shank 6/10/12/16/20/25/32/40 mm by cutter size). The 4-flute cutter suits steel and finishing; for aluminium or deep slotting needing more chip clearance a 2-flute may be better. Use coolant and set speeds and feeds to the material for good tool life.

Should I choose a 4-flute or 2-flute end mill?
A 4-flute cutter has more cutting edges, giving a smoother finish and steadier cut — ideal for side milling and finishing steel. A 2-flute has wider flutes for chip clearance, better for deep slotting and soft materials like aluminium that produce a lot of chips. For a fine finish on steel choose 4-flute; for deep slots or aluminium choose 2-flute.
How is Super HSS different from ordinary HSS?
Super HSS is a premium high-speed steel with added alloying elements (such as cobalt) that resist heat and hold hardness at high temperature better than standard HSS, so it cuts at higher speeds and lasts longer — good for harder steels and continuous work.
What sizes are available?
The CHUOKU Super HSS 4F end mill runs from φ1.5 mm up to φ38 mm (including inch sizes), with shank size increasing by cutter size — e.g. φ6 has a 6 mm shank, φ12 a 12 mm shank, φ20 a 20 mm shank. Tell BOWMAP the size you need and we will check stock.
